Throw a dog or cat or flower or other ephemera on the uncompleted card, maybe even a black and white flower, and put a sentiment on the inside. Love how you approached this pad and I think the cards came out really nicely and I. Eat you that someone is going to absolutely love the one card with all the different colors on it! Something for everyone. The green happy birthday cards are great masculine birthday cards too.

Good for you for powering through! But I agree, there are pads I don’t love and they need to go. Or take out the sheets I do love and let it go! Your crafty friends would love any card you do!! We understand how some ideas just don’t work out! Ooops! I do know the struggle though as lots of cards I’ve created that are just dudes (trying to find a nice word instead of ugly!). I do love a good template though! they come in really handy when you need to create but your creative brain isn’t 100% engaged. I have been toying with the idea of mass making card fronts to have to pull and add a sentiment. Thanks for sharing! And I love how Zeus let you know he was more important!! And that large Dog stamp was adorable!!!

I wish I had more room to stage projects like you do. Currently a lot of our kitchen items are in my craft room waiting for the kitchen counters to be installed and final work done on the kitchen remodel. I envy your trip to San Diego. I might go there next year.

I LOVED seeing the vintage scrapbook album!!! Uncanny how much that card looks like Zeus and Zelda. Your Calvin Klein ribbon reminded me of the scene in the movie Back To The Future when his Mom (from the past) thinks his name is Calvin Klein because of his underwear. LOVE your sorted project piles!!! 💙💙💙

I think you made some great progress with sorting/creating piles that go together. Especially things to add to that fabric journal cover. I think we all deserve some grace when the non-crafty parts of our life get busy. ❤. And I’m also tired of the “Dog Bite Awareness” postmarks covering up my postage stamps! As always a wealth of inspiration! I came down from my craftroom because I was frustrated with a “open” box (like for an advent thing) my daughter-in-law asked me to make and after 3 attempts, I can’t seem to get the measurements right. You nailed it for me. I start a project, get bored or I stumble across something that distracts me and now I start something different without “packing up” the other thing I was working on. I need to redo my iris cases to have them for larger projects I’m working on and USE my large bags for smaller projects. Also, I have discovered I pull out too many options! I have a basket of ribbon that I have accumulated as I’m working on the Christmas cards and I keep reaching for more when in fact I’ve only used one roll! thanks Sarah! I loved your idea of making the project bag as you clean up! I have some and they have come in very handy, especially if a stamp inspired an idea for a project, I will include it in the project bag (like the bee stamp set with the bee punch). I seriously have to go on a no buy! My mistake with the goals, I think was giving myself permission to buy because I donated! Going to have to give myself some tough love! Wish me luck my friend! OH and I gotta quit watching all these hobby lobby clearance hauls!!! Thankfully the HL closest to my house has not had any clearance items that needed to come home with me! (It should be illegal to put craft stores 2 miles away!). Good luck with your Sunday strategy! Blessings to you and Zeus and the girls! Oh and Mr. C&R!

If only my mess was this little! I am starting on a small desk area today. But I stopped and worked on 2 journals and still have a mess. Sigh. Some day.

OMGoodness, I don’t even know where to start! Except I wonder if you could take the scrapbook to an office supply store and have them scan all the pages and put it on digital for you? Our “copyright” email was from 2/2/2024 (who knew all those IT auditor certifications would be so handy in my retirement years! Ha ha ). If there are items you want to remove, you might try taking some waxed dental floss and run under them gently. (Old cardmaker trick when you attachment something in the wrong place or too soon! I wonder if the “pin” was from her corsage as it was right there by a program from a dance? The girls in New York picture so fun! In my story of the book, that drink stir stick was from that trip! I love old cars, too! The postcard of the Washington Monument, all that pink was the cherry trees in full bloom! And the one of the Missouri River bridges, they are no longer in use. Sure looks like someone was in the military and yes, as a military family all of our memories are around where we stationed and the years are very fuzzy! The only way I can remember what years my dad was a drill Sargent, is my sister graduated high school during that time. She graduated in ‘67 and me in ‘76 (I’m a nerd with numbers - so when the day of your birth is the same number of the month - I will not forget your birthday! The card might be late because I’ll remember the day of!). That cool church (kind of looks like spikes) is at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, along with Fort Carson, both are in that area. That “command center” is NORAD (very cool place) they track Santa on Christmas Eve 😉 and a few other things not as important as Santa! And the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS) is how mom, sis and I traveled to/from Germany in 1963/65! Fond memories for my “first cruises” for me, not so much my family as they got sea sick. And the only way I can remember those dates you ask…. Because I started kindergarten in Germany so I count back backwards! I really enjoyed this video, can you tell?? Thanks for sharing your awesome scrapbook!

Fabulous vintage album. I can't imagine a family giving up such a treasure. I like the grading cards and the greeting cards. I would love some digitals of these.

They signed each quarter they got grades and returned to the school. And the 4th quarter the patent kept it!! Thank you for sharing this cool book!!!

I am taking time to go camping and crafting. I don't make clusters in a book but i do make them and keep them in a container. I suse them on cards and hidden paperclips. I don't have a creative reuse store close to me. So glad you had fun on your trip.❤
